The MTR crew is already kicking around plans for this upcoming year.  As you all know, we rotate between offering MTR 1 and MTR 2, and this coming year will be a MTR 1 class.  The curriculum has changed slightly in year’s past, but we will continue to focus on the necessary rescue skills to traverse difficult terrain and survive foul weather.  Recent changes will provide more opportunity to learn and perform rope rescue exercises as well as emergency sled building, shelter building and much more.  Additional information will be announced at the fall refreshers, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact Patrick Saeva MTR Advisor for the Genesee Valley Region.
